Welcome to my photo/video blog!
My name is Suzi Pera. I am a junior at Harbor High School. The work you see on this blog is record of my journey this year as I study photography and video. I have always loved taking pictures and making videos with my friends, but I am excited to take my skills to the next level. I have played around a little bit with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe PremierePro. But what I really want to do is learn how to use a camera properly. My short term goal in this class is to stay on top of all of my assignments, to keep good notes so I can reference them throughout the year and to get to know some other kids in the class a little better. I am sort of shy so that is not usually very easy for me. My long term goals are to (1) feel really confident about how to use the camera in manual mode so that I have more control over the creative process and (2) to build a strong portfolio by the end of the year. I hope to work as a photographer/videographer assistant and I hope this portfolio will help me do that. I hope you enjoy my work. Please feel free to leave comment below.
